Students Online Services
The Online Student Services system implemented by AOU assist the students throughout their educational journey.The features provided assist the students with the tools and support needed to navigate their academic journey effectively, resolve issues that arise, and ensure that their educational experience is smooth and fair. The main electronic services include the following:
Academic Advising:
Students can view the academic advising details before registering for each semester.
Course Registration and Course Schedule:
The students can register for their selected courses within a certain registration period. Students can confirm registration, drop courses or change sections, and also view and print out their schedules.
View Offered Courses:
The students can view the list of all courses offered in the university during the academic semester.
Exam Schedule:
The students can view the exams' schedules for the registered courses in the semester.
Grades, Transcript and Academic Plan:
This feature allows students to view their grades for each course, including assignment marks, exam scores, and overall course performance. The student can also view unofficial transcript and their academic plans
Complaints:
Students file a complaint form regarding any non-academic issues.
Appeal:
This feature allows students to request a formal review of their academic decisions, particularly in relation to final exam grades or assessments. The appeal will be reviewed by the assigned committee before informing the student of the outcome.
Exam Postponement:
The students are allowed to request a postponement of a midterm or final exam due to extenuating circumstances.
Students Services: Students can submit a request for a service from the list of services available in the system and fill out the necessary information. The concerned department or office processes the request. Once processed, students are notified of the status of their request, which could be approval, denial, or additional information required.
