The Information Technology Department acts as a strategic partner to AOU’s business units, playing a key role in driving the university's success by providing innovative technologies that support learning, teaching, and research. Beyond offering daily technical and support services, we enhance both administrative and academic functions through a range of services designed to promote productivity and innovation. We provide our students and faculty with access to essential services such as the SIS, LMS, websites, and the e-library. Additionally, we equip our administrative staff with top-tier systems for ERP, HR, and more. To foster connectivity among the AOU community, we offer a wide array of voice and video communication tools, including email, forums, collaborative web conferencing, and IP telephony services. We also ensure the effective management of centralized services, software licenses, and infrastructure subscriptions, optimizing these resources through efficient agreements with leading IT providers.
